DavidBrown

Dave Brown initiated the foundation for Baseline Medical over 40 years ago with required science courses as a college undergraduate. Baseline Medical was formed from a need he saw for all of those people who missed an important opportunity to be diagnosed about their cardiovascular disease risk. It became very apparent when Dave was on Hospital Vascular Lab staff that it was immoral to use the ambulance as the primary means to identify people with a heart attack or stroke.

In the early 1980s Dave began to focus on an emerging new field in medical diagnostic health care called vascular ultrasound. He became fully registered in Vascular Technology earning the RVT credential. Carotid artery screenings are performed in his office and onsite at workplace wellness clinics and more.

Dave is privileged to have a Medical Advisory Board comprised of expert national and regional medical professionals. They are physicians, surgeons, authors and educators in the disciplines of cardiology, surgery and vascular physiology. The importance of recommending vascular screenings is a primary duty for the health provider in their quest for patient health care. Information obtained in a screening assists the physician to educate patients so that health care can finally replace disease management.
